HOW WE CHOOSE INGREDIENTS

Every ingredient had to survive five questions.

Most supplements are built backwards: start with ingredients, then find reasons. We started with the problems people actually described, and every candidate ingredient had to earn its way past the gates.

The five gates

Every ingredient had to answer the same questions before it earned a place.

1
Is this a real problem?

We started with the problems people repeatedly described, not with ingredients we wanted to sell.

2
Is there actual evidence for this ingredient?

An ingredient needed a reason to be here beyond popularity or a marketing trend.

3
Does it belong next to medication?

A companion product should be designed with the reality of medication use in mind.

4
Can we build the studied dose?

If the useful amount does not fit honestly into the format, it does not belong in the formula.

5
Is a capsule genuinely the best way to get it?

Some things are easier and more sensible to get elsewhere. Those belong in the Playbook instead.

Forms matter as much as names

The ingredient name is only half the story. Form, dose and purpose matter too.

Ingredient The form we chose Amount Why
Vitamin D3 Cholecalciferol 1,000 IU A clearly named form with a clearly stated amount.
Vitamin B6 P5P 20 mg The active form, included at a transparent dose.
Ginger Ginger root extract 10:1 150 mg A standardized extract with the exact amount shown on the label.
Probiotics Strain-specific blend 16 billion CFU Named strains rather than an anonymous proprietary blend.
Digestive enzymes Lipase, protease, amylase 150 mg The individual enzyme types are named rather than hidden.

The capsule is an ingredient too

Why delayed release, and why clear

Your stomach works differently on a GLP-1: food stays longer, you feel full sooner. Everything you swallow with it sits there too.

That is why the capsule itself was part of the formula decision, not an afterthought.

What didn't make it, and where it went

Not every useful thing belongs inside a capsule.

Left out by design

No berberine

Left out deliberately rather than added simply because it is popular in the category.

No iron

Not every nutrient belongs in a daily companion formula for every person.

No piperine

We chose not to include black pepper extract in the formula.

No colorants or titanium dioxide

The capsule stays clear and the formula stays straightforward.

Recommended in the free Playbook
Protein

Keep whatever protein source already works for you.

Fiber

The Playbook explains simple ways to add fiber outside the capsule.

Electrolytes

These are widely available, so the Playbook explains what to look for.

Magnesium

Needs can vary, so we did not force a universal amount into the capsule.

Then we prove it’s what the label says

A formula is only useful if the finished product matches the promise.

Third-party tested, every batch

Finished batches can be independently checked for key quality measures.

Certificates you can read yourself

Quality information should be understandable rather than hidden behind vague claims.

Physician reviewed

The formula can be reviewed with the same label and ingredient information you see here.

Now hold other labels to this

You should be able to ask the same questions of every supplement.

Take these five gates to any supplement you're considering. Every formula should be able to explain what is inside, why it is there, and why that form and dose were chosen.
